MURTAUGH — The Snake River Bros will host its 14th annual Rally in the Valley on July 12 and 13 at Murtaugh Lake, south of Murtaugh. The cost is $40 per person for a weekend pass. Kids younger than 17 will get in free with a paid adult.
TWIN FALLS — The Twin Falls Municipal Band started its 114th consecutive season of concerts at the Twin Falls City Park band shell this summer. Due to popular demand, concerts will start at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays rather than the traditional 8 p.m. starting time.
KETCHUM — The Mitchell Contemporary Gallery will present works by internationally known abstract expressionist Svein Koningen for Gallery Walk from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at 400 Sun Valley Road, next to Huck & Paddle. Owner Tim Mitchell has represented Koningen since 2010 and is excited to bring his works to Ketchum.

TWIN FALLS — He walks into Norm’s and slides into a booth. If he wasn’t such a regular it might seem odd to see him in real life, without a coat and tie. The waitress asks him if he’ll be having the usual, and he nods yes.
TWIN FALLS — The Magic Valley YMCA will soon host the inaugural Warrior Strong Kids Run for youth ages four to 13. There will be a quarter-mile run for children ages 4 to 6, accompanied by a parent, and a mile run incorporating 15 to 20 obstacles for children ages 7 to 13 to conquer.
KETCHUM — Poo Wright-Pulliam’s City of Rocks exhibit will be shown during the Gallery Walk from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Environmental Resource Center, 471 Washington Ave. Complimentary beverages will be served. Wright-Pulliam will be present to share the stories behind her work.
